Idiopathic recurrent palmoplantar eccrine hidradenitis is a self-limiting condition which usually resolves in 2-4 weeks. Topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) can be applied. Paracetamol and other pain killers can also be prescribed.
